Week 13 For this week, in tutorial class, we were taught about Basic Principle of Graphics (Prinsip Asas Grafik). Although it has been taught in one of the lectures, Dr. Fariza was very concerned of us and decided to refresh our memories. Graphic is not solely about pictures, and I learned that, typography is also considered as graphics. As long as it is an artistic work, it can be considered as graphics.
For this week lecture, it was the last lecture and I was really going to miss this wonderful lecture (although I had a hard time waking up, hehe!). Today, we learned about electronic media and non-electronic media with Mejar Jasmy. He showed us many interesting videos. Overall, I learned that: (1) although we are in the midst of technology, there are times where non-electronic media work best and cannot be replaced. For example, if we were to conduct art class for our students. We could not expect them to colour on their iPad. Surely colour pencils and papers are the best! (2) technology always evolves, however, in a classroom, it is only a complement to make learning more efficient and fun. That's all from me, thank you!
