Week 9
For this week, our tutorial class was postponed and we had tasks (Openlearning) to be done. But for our lecture, we learned something very interesting. Usually, when presenting our final projects, we usually use PowerPoint, right? However, for today's lecture, we were exposed to many websites which offer people to make beautiful and creative presentations. I would like to discuss about my experience in using several websites which give (free) opportunity to make interesting slides. 1. Prezi For me, Prezi is a simple and unique way to present your work. Unlike other presentation styles which use slides, Prezi gives you a huge canvas. We can write anything on that canvas. Almost like, drawing, painting and decorating the canvas in any ways that we like. But then, you must be worried about whether your audience could see or not? Brush it off! Prezi gives you the opportunity to create 'path' in presenting your work by zooming the particular information that you want people to see. This is to make sure that your work can be presented in the best and clearest way! 2. Piktochart Piktochart always has the best pictures and layouts. Let's say I do not have any ideas in making an attractive presentation (slides). Piktochart provides many templates and you just need to change the information here and there. It makes life easier. So, after knowing this, as a future educator, I have no excuse not to make attractive teaching aids for my students because the new generation mostly an active visual learner! That's all from me, thank you!
